Josef’s Deli opened June 28, 2025 in Shop #9 of The Village Shops, the storied European style shopping courtyard at 634 Parkway in Gatlinburg.
It runs as a family operation, sister business of Maddi Mae’s Cafe & Creamery a few doors across the same courtyard.
Within weeks of opening, the deli had joined the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce.
The signature of the house: a half-pound Reuben on pumpernickel.

Josef’s itself is the newcomer, opened in 2025. The fifty years belong to the courtyard’s Reuben tradition, and the deli keeps it going.
